HAMPSHIRE COACHING NOMINATIONS 2019
It will be awarded at the annual Coaching Conference, which will be held at Oasis School, Sunday 14th July, 2019 (0900 – 1600)
This year Hampshire Rugby Football Union Coaching Committee is offering 2 awards of which you can submit a nomination for each if you wish:
Coach of the Year XV-a-side & Senior club game, U18s (Ebbs Memorial Trophy)
Hampshire Rugby Coaching Award for contribution to the game (Age-grade, Touch, Sevens, Community, Inclusive programmes and other formats of rugby)
This could be;
A coach who delivers, supports and contributes to the Coaching Process within your club whilst also incorporating the Core Values of England Rugby of; Teamwork, Respect, Enjoyment, Discipline & Sportsmanship.
A particular coach that has made an identifiable contribution and delivered success that might not just be associated with on-the-field victories and trophies!
A coach doing something innovative or creative, they might have already invested much time and effort to players, coaches and shared much, and delivered or be contributing to a legacy, for the club, county and country, and/or for the game of Rugby Union.
A coach doing something that ensures players of all ages stay in the game, or gets back in the game or contributes to that all important transition process (colts to seniors for example).
There may be that special aspect that really makes one of your coaches’ stand out?!
You can nominate different coaches in the 2 Award categories if both are applicable.
If you have a coach that you want to nominate please contact either Steve Jenkins (Coach Co-ordinator) or Judy Youell (Hon Sec) with a summary of why (no more than 300 words) and which award you want to nominate for.
Please do not send direct to Hampshire as we want to collate the nominations and use for club awards/ and of season recognition.
