We are running a series of Pitch-side First Aid courses in the coming months, to be hosted in the clubhouse.

These courses are essential for those volunteering to provide first aid cover at all levels of the game.

Pitch-side Care for Seasons 22/23 and 23/24 – Changes to Regulation 9
From the 22/23 season all age grade contact matches and training sessions will require a level of pitch-side first aid that aligns with the RFU’s Pitch-side First Aid & Immediate Care Standards or a level determined by a club’s specific risk assessment. At Alton RFC we have been working to the updated regulation in our age grade section all season.

However similar changes will come into place for the adult game in 23/24.

Therefore, we're running a number of Pitch-side First Aid courses for anyone who'd like to become First Aid certified and volunteer as a first aider at age grade or adult training or games, as well as for anyone who'd like to refresh their knowledge.

Course Information - May 2023
When: 24th & 31st May 2023, running from 1830-2100
Where: Alton RFC Clubhouse

Attendees will need to be able to attend both sessions in order to become certified. The course content is split over the 2 sessions therefore attendance at both is crucial. Please only book into the course if you can definitely attend both sessions.
